Perspectives from the Class of 2020

In March of this year, college life as we know it was upended. 

The Spring Semester is normally an emotional peak for students. The sun is out, students are congregating on patios, taking road trips to music festivals, and creating experiences that will become lifelong memories. Graduating Seniors are preparing to cap off the best four years of their life with a commencement walk as their families proudly look on. 

But the virus took this away. Classes were canceled, and campuses were closed. Since then, students have experienced unprecedented levels of anxiety, isolation, and uncertainty.  

College Seniors were especially stunned. As the economy spiraled, many have seen their interviews postponed, internships canceled and job offers pulled.

We talked to graduating students throughout the country to better understand how the pandemic has impacted their outlook.
