Across the US, many students have chosen to return to their colleges, where they live in a non-distanced environment that puts them at risk of contracting COVID. While of course there is huge variance across the population, our research found that these students are surprisingly unconcerned about catching the virus. But they do have strong feelings about the social implications of COVID.
